Animals Collection is a personal series of illustrations combining double exposures of animals with intensely coloured landscapes, texture fusion and drawing techniques for a more artistic finish.
Every double exposure hides a small tribute.

Saturated-colour landscapes (sunsets, forests, mountains) filtered through each animal's silhouette, creating vivid contrasts between nature and portrait.
The series' common thread is fusion: animal silhouettes that work as a window onto landscapes and textures, achieved with double-exposure techniques and digital drawing. Among them is a small tribute to Rox, a Mallorcan ratero crossed with a dachshund who was part of the family for nine years.

Fusion of textures and drawing
I blended textures and drawing work over the photographs to give each piece a more artistic, less photographic feel.
The result is a personal collection of illustrations that blends technique and affection, a free exercise that keeps feeding my approach to photomontage.
