An app so you never have to ask “what's for dinner?” again.
Marchando · Weekly menu app
Marchando is a web app I designed and built for personal use: it plans the weekly menu for lunches and dinners, generates the shopping list automatically, and emails a reminder of what to take out of the freezer each day.
The week's menu, the shopping list and the freezer, sorted before you even think about it.
Color e identidad.
Near-black graphite with burnt-orange accents, the same warm tone as the flame in the logo: a night-kitchen palette, easy to look at every day without tiring the eye.
The logo combines a flame with a fork and knife, summing up cooking and eating in a single mark. It's paired with a rounded, friendly typeface, built for a tool used every day.
The whole week at a glance
Besides the calendar, a board shows all seven days in two columns (lunch and dinner) to review the whole week's menu without opening each day, flagging which dishes need to come out of the freezer.
A filterable recipe book
Every dish comes from a recipe book of 40+ original recipes, classified by meal type and by who cooks it, with a search bar to find a recipe and add it to the menu in seconds.
Marchando solves a very concrete daily problem: deciding what to eat, not buying the same thing twice, and not forgetting to defrost. The shopping list builds itself from the week's menu, with quantities already added up.
