A seal that carries the camellia to every corner of Iberia.
AICAM · Iberian Camellia Association
I designed the corporate identity and website for AICAM, the Iberian Camellia Association, based in A Coruña. The project needed to convey nature and colour through an image that could bring together botanists, nursery growers, artists and institutions around this flower.
A flower can be a seal, a community and a flag, all at once.
Color e identidad.
Intense pinks and magentas taken directly from the camellia's petals, set against clean white in the seal and leaf greens in the photographic background.
I built the logotype as a circular seal with a simplified drawing of the camellia flower at its centre, encircled by the association's name. An emblem format that works equally well on stationery and botanical outreach materials.
Corporate identity manual
I developed the identity manual with the rules of use for the seal, the colour palette and the typography, designed so the association could apply it consistently across all its communications.
Graphic materials and website
Beyond the identity, I designed promotional graphic materials and the association's website, to raise awareness of its work spreading the camellia among professionals and enthusiasts alike.
AICAM now has a unified image: a recognisable seal and a website that carry the camellia's colour and bring together the whole Iberian community around this flower.
