The Velero Rafael Verdera is a wooden vessel built in 1841 in Ibiza, the oldest active ship in the Spanish fleet. I developed its visual identity and graphic materials to make this maritime heritage known, starting from a faithful drawing of the vessel itself.
An 1841 ship needs a brand that speaks its own language: tradition, craft and sea.
Color e identidad.
Deep navy blues combined with warm wood tones, in line with the vessel's century-old hull and the Mediterranean it has sailed for nearly two centuries.
The logotype is built on a technical, faithful drawing of the sailboat, traced respecting its rigging and real proportions so the brand would be recognisable to those who know the ship up close. The classic, sober typeface reinforces the vessel's historic, seafaring character.

I started from a detailed illustration of the sailboat, respecting its real silhouette and rigging, as the foundation for the project's entire graphic identity.
